Designed to improve operator safety in underground mining environments by relocating phase indication to a visible, side-mounted LED panel.
The New Macey 60 Amp Phase Rotation Plug has been engineered to significantly improve safety in underground mining operations.
Traditional phase rotation units require operators to kneel or lie on the ground to view an underside-mounted display — particularly in hard rock pump and jumbo starters where receptacles are positioned underneath the switchboard.
New Macey has solved this issue by relocating the LED indication panel to the side of the plug, allowing clear visibility from a standing position. Bright LED indicators combined with an audible tone provide fast, reliable phase confirmation before equipment is energised.
